Did you know? Nearly 80% of women wear the wrong bra size — and one big reason is simply not knowing how to measure it right. A perfectly fitted bra doesn’t just enhance your shape, it also improves your posture and gives your body the support it truly needs. At Sajiero, we believe every woman deserves the comfort of a bra that fits just right — and measuring your size is easier than you think. All you need is a measuring tape, a mirror, and a non-padded bra. Here’s how you can measure your bra size at home in just two simple steps:

Measure Your Band Size

STEP 1

Calculate band size

  • Wrap the measuring tape around your ribcage, right under your bust.
  • Keep it snug and level.
  • Round off the number to the nearest whole number.
  • If it’s even, add 4 inches. If it’s odd, add 5 inches.
  • The result is your band size. Example: If your underbust is 27 inches → 27 + 5 = 32 (band size)

Example: 25.6 Inches will round off to 26 Band size - 26 + 4 = 30

STEP 2

Measure Your Bust Size

  • Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
  • Make sure the tape is snug but not tight.
  • Round off to the nearest whole number.

Now subtract your band size from your bust measurement:

  • If the difference is 1 inch = A cup
  • 2 inches = B cup
  • 3 inches = C cup
  • and so on...

Example: Bust = 35 inches, Band = 32 → 35 - 32 = 3 inches → 32C

Do’s & Don’ts for Taking Correct Measurements Do’s

  • Always wear a non-padded or lightly padded bra.
  • Your hormones change your bust size throughout the month, such as your bust size may increase near the menstruation cycle.
  • While measuring your bust size breathe normally.
  • Keep the measuring tape flat on your bust.

Do’s

  • If you get a fraction on tape such as 31.5, don’t round down the size. Always round up.
  • Don’t pull it too tight, you might get the number wrong.
  • Don’t wear an ill-fitted bra during measurement.
